A WOMAN has been ordered to pay over £300 in compensation after stealing several items from a Sainsbury's, including a joint of meat and an iron.
Kirsty Roach, 34, admitted taking laundry items, hair straighteners, a joint of meat, a DVD player and a cordless iron from Sainsbury's in Broadwater Way, Hampden Park, Eastbourne, on September 30 last year.
Roach, of Arun Valley, Faygate, has been ordered to pay £309.38 in compensation, the combined value of the items she stole.
She was also given a 12-month community order which says she must have treatment for drug dependency.
