ROBERT EDDY has been given a conditional discharge for six months after pleading guilty to stealing perfume and sunglasses from Boots in Brighton.

Brighton magistrates also ordered Eddy, 30, of Tintern Close, Stevenage, to pay compensation of £139.

The court was told the items were stolen on August 24 from the store in North Street.

MOUNCIF LABRIKI has pleaded not guilty to assaulting a police sergeant at Eastbourne Police Station, Hammonds Drive, on March 11.

Labriki, 32, of Portland Street, Brighton, was remanded on bail, and will face trial before Brighton magistrates on July 6.

His bail conditions included an order not to enter Firle Road, Eastbourne, and to live and sleep each night at Portland Street, Brighton.

ZAIN ULHAQ has been accused of suppling Class A and Class B drugs in Crawley.

Ulhaq, 35, of Scott Summers Court, Crawley, is due to stand trial at Lewes Crown Court on April 8.

He is facing charges of supplying crack cocaine and diamorphine in Crawley between October 1 last year and March 11.

He is also facing further charges of supplying crack cocaine, diamorphine and cannabis in Crawley on March 10, and a further charge of acquiring, using or possessing criminal property on the same day, namely cash.

CHARLIE MCMASTER has been ordered to pay more than £800 after failing to give police information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle.

McMaster, of Bramble Drive, Hailsham, was fined £660 and ordered to pay costs of £90 and a victim surcharge £66 following the offence in Shoreham on June 2.

The 37-year-old also received six points on his licence.

YASAR KOKSAL is due to appear before Brighton magistrates on April 8 after being accused of failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have committed an offence in Shoreham on June 4.

The case of Koksal, 55, of High Street, Crawley, has been referred for a full court hearing.

LOUIS DEMPSEY is to stand trial at Lewes Crown Court on April 1 after being accused of burglary and grievous bodily harm relating to an incident in Daniel Close, Lancing, on March 4.

Dempsey, 42, of Crescent Road, Worthing, is accused of using a sock with a metal weight inside it and a hammer during the incident.

He did not enter a plea during a hearing before Brighton magistrates on March 5.

NATHAN MUNN, of Ian Close, Bexhill, has been fined £660 after failing to give police information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have committed an offence in Shoreham on June 9.

The 32-year-old was also banned from driving for six months and ordered to pay costs of £90 and a victim surcharge of £66.

MOHAMMED OUEDRAOGO is accused of failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence in Shoreham on June 6.

The case of Ouedraogo, 24, of Lilford Road, Lambeth, will be heard before Brighton magistrates on April 8.

CLIFFORD SAILSMAN has been banned from driving for six months after breaking a 30mph speed limit on the A22 London Road, East Grinstead.

Sailsman, 53, of Knowles Hill Crescent, Lewisham, pleaded guilty to the offence and was fined £133 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £90 by Brighton magistrates.

The disqualification was obligatory due to repeat offending.

JOE SHEWARD has been banned from driving for six months after failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence in Shoreham on June 4.

Sheward, 39, of Gallows Hill, Abbots Langley, Herts, was also fined £660 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and costs of £90.

DANIEL SIERANSKI, 29, of Festival Court, Chichester, is to appear before Brighton magistrates on April 8 accused of using a vehicle in Shripney Road in Bognor without proper insurance.
