MAGICAL workshops for children are returning just in time for the Easter holidays.

The Wizarding School Experience is relaunching in Brighton and hosting workshops across the first week of the Easter holidays.

The workshops aim to give children aged seven to ten an “immersive” wizard experience.

They are taking place from 11am to 12.30pm on April 11, 12 and 13 at St Augustine's Arts and Events Center, Stanford Avenue.

Children will have the opportunity to learn “the secret wizard code” which allows them to write their names, enchantments and spells, and communicate with other wizards.

The Argus:

They can compete in wizard battles, take part in potion sorting, and create and keep their own enchanted sword.

The kids will then remember what they have learned, work together as a team, and solve the final challenge to save Wizard School.

At the end of the workshop, they will receive their special magical certificate for completing Wizard School.

Donna James, whose child took part in last year's workshops, said: “Perfectly magical.

"They went that extra mile, it's something truly unique with all the atmosphere and creativity of a ‘true’ school of magic, Matilda is still beaming.”

Tickets cost £20 per child or there are (limited) sibling tickets, which are two tickets for £35.
