ONE FAMILY will be reimagined as a cartoon as young bowlers compete to star as a comic book character.

AMF Bowling, part of the Hollywood Bowl group, in Worthing, and Beano comics are teaming up to give children and their families the chance to be drawn in cartoon by one of the magazine’s comic artists.

Children will need take a selfie while at the bowling alley, and upload it to Instagram with the hashtag #Beanogoesbowling and tag @HollywoodBowlUK to enter.

“Families who visit during the holidays can enjoy Beanotown with lots of games and activities,” said Terry Wells, centre manager at AMF Bowling Worthing.

“What better way to celebrate the Easter school holidays than by winning your family portrait drawn by one of the comic’s talented artists.

“We can’t wait to welcome everyone to have some fun when the school bell rings for the end of term.”

AMF in Worthing will run offers alongside the competition, including a 25 per cent discount for families who book sessions before 11am, and discounted deals in its American-style restaurant.
