RAPPER ArrDee performed to a sell-out crowd in his hometown as part of his first UK tour.

Following the release of his debut mixtape Pier Pressure, the Brighton-born rapper played at Concorde 2 on Tuesday, March 29.

The album, which is ranked at number two in the UK charts, features War, Oliver Twist and Flowers (Say My Name).

ArrDee, real name Riley Davies, performed at the Madeira Drive venue on the penultimate night of his first ever UK tour.

Pictures from the event show a topless ArrDee on stage performing to the adoring crowd, which included fellow Brighton musician Fatboy Slim.

The 19-year-old shot onto the music scene in April last year after the release of the chart-topping remix Body alongside Tion Wayne and Russ Millions.

The hit song became an overnight sensation after his verse gained popularity on TikTok.

Before the success of the UK chart topper, ArrDee released Cheeky Bars in January 2021.

The music video was filmed entirely on the Brighton Bandstand in Kings Road, while in the music video for his June release Oliver Twist, he can be seen at a number of Brighton locations including the i360, Regency Square and Bexhill Road in Woodingdean.

In the music video for Flowers (Say My Name), he can be seen in front of Brighton Palace Piers and in Preston Park.

ArrDee’s admiration for his hometown is clear in a number of his videos and lyrics to date.

Cheeky Bars contains lyrics including “chatty white boy raised up by the seaside”, while in 6am in Brighton, the rapper says “Me? I'm just one seaside boy who sat in his ding dong rapping.

And: “Just 'cause you hear me on radio, s**t ain't changing, bro, love my city.”
