A YOUNG dog has been reunited with his owner after five days on the run.
Jack-a-poo Gus went missing on Sunday, March 27, after he ran away from owner Natasha O'Connor at The Victory Inn, in Duke Street.
Natasha, 30, from London, had been visiting for the day when Gus broke free from his harness
She launched a huge campaign to find her precious pooch, with volunteers putting up posters around Brighton and Hove, and sightings being reported on a special Facebook page.
Speaking on Friday, Natasha said: "We found Gus this morning, I'm so happy and relieved."
Natasha stayed in Brighton to search for Gus since Sunday, only returning home breifly to collect more clothes.
