A man has been fined for assaulting a female police officer in Grand Parade, Brighton, on Christmas Day last year
A 62-YEAR-OLD man has been fined for assaulting a police officer on Christmas Day.
Gerard Sheridan has been ordered to pay a total of £184 for assaulting Police Constable Green in Grand Parade, Brighton, on December 25 last year.
The 62-year-old changed his plea to guilty after having previously pleaded not guilty.
Sheridan, of no fixed address, was fined £150 for the assault by beating.
He will also have to pay a surcharge of £34 to fund victim services.
