SHOCKING pictures show the aftermath of a collision in which a car left the road and hit trees.
Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the B2036 Balcombe Road, between the Cowdray Arms pub and Maidenbower, at around 9pm on Thursday, April 7.
A Land Rover Defender was travelling westbound when it left the road and collided with trees, coming to rest on the nearside verge.

One casualty was assisted by the fire service and @SECAmbulance and taken to hospital

Ambulance attended and the driver was taken to hospital, where it was confirmed he had sustained serious injuries.
