Thousands of runners took part in today's Brighton Marathon and The Argus has picked some of the best pictures from the event
People from across the country and world descended on the city to take on the 26.2 mile race.
The winner of the men's race was Alix Ramsier with a time of 2hrs 29min 07secs.
Melissah Gibson won the women's race in 2hrs 51min 06secs.
Spectators gathered all along the course from Preston Park, through the city to the seafront.
The weather was described as "ideal" for runners, sunny but cool temperatures.
