A MAN has been banned from driving and ordered to pay more than £800 after being convicted of a driving offence.

Stephen Michael Marjoram, 36, of Bear Road, Brighton, was fined £660, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and costs of £90 after failing to provide information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

He was also disqualified from driving for six months following the offence in Shoreham last August. The disqualification was obligatory due to repeat offending.

His case was heard by Brighton magistrates on April 7.

An offence of speeding on the A270 Lewes Road in July was dismissed at an earlier hearing.
