TELEVISION comedy stars are to take part in a charity fundraiser for Ukraine.
Angela Barnes from Mock The Week, BBC New Comedy Award finalist William Stone, improvisation trio The Noise Next Door and Comedy of the Year finalist Archie Maddocks will take part in the event at Komedia in Gardner Street, Brighton.
All the profits from the event on Monday, April 25, will go to help the Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal, whose teams are working to get critical care to those most in need.
The money will be used to meet the needs of people in Ukraine and those who have fled to neighboring countries – providing food, water, medical assistance, protection and trauma care.
Stand Up for Ukraine will kick off at 8pm.
Tickets start at £10 and are available from www.komedia.co.uk/brighton/comedy/stand-up-for-ukraine/
Komedia’s programme spans a full range of entertainment from theatre and music through to cabaret, comedy and live literature.
