PENSIONERS came together to plant a tree in celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Residents at Churchill Retirement Living’s Allingham Lodge in Eastbourne gathered for the planting as part of the Queen’s green canopy initiative ahead of her Platinum Jubilee in June, marking 70 years on the throne.

The initiative encourages tree planting to create a legacy that will benefit future generations.
