DOZENS of police officers were called to the pier in the search for a missing seven-year-old boy.
Photos taken on Thursday at around 5.30pm show multiple police cars stationed outside Brighton Palace Pier and along Brighton seafront.
Sussex Police have today confirmed the force were responding to reports of a missing child.
A spokesman said: “Police received a report of a missing seven-year-old boy near Brighton Palace Pier shortly after 5.15pm on Thursday, April 14.
“A search was launched around the area, and he was found safe and well at around 5.50pm.”
