POLICE have been called to the scene of motorcycle crash on a busy road.
Officers from Sussex Police have closed Beacon Road, Ditchling, following a crash, reportedly involving a motorcycle and a bicycle.
A police spokesman said: “Ditchling Beach, Brighton to Ditchling, is currently closed due to an accident.
“Please use alternative routes. We have deployed a drone for aerial photographs of the scene to assist in the investigation.”
An AA traffic update said: “Road closed and slow traffic due to crash, a motorbike and a bicycle involved on Beacon Road both ways between Underhill Lane and Ditchling Beacon Car Park.
“The crash happened around 11:50 with the winding road through the beacon closed as a result."
Sussex Police have been contacted for comment.
