A MOTORCYCLIST has died, and another was injured, in a fatal crash.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision in Fox Way, Portslade, at 4.35pm yesterday.
Police closed the road in both directions while paramedics treated a motorcyclist, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second motorcyclist suffered a leg injury in the crash.
Photographs taken at the scene show several police cars attending the incident, as well as the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) and the air ambulance.
An AA traffic update said: “Road closed and slow traffic due to serious crash, a car and a bike involved on Fox Way both ways from Henge Way to Thornhill Rise.
“The air ambulance has been on scene after the crash around 16:30.”
Police are appealing for anyone who saw what happened, or who may have captured any relevant dash cam footage, to contact them online or by calling 101 quoting Operation Euston.
