A CAR crashed into the front garden of a house.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash in Shepherds Way in Fairlight, near Hastings, at about 8pm on Sunday, April 17.

Pictures from the scene show how the black vehicle crashed in the garden, becoming lodged up against a large tree.

A witness at the scene said a man was injured in the crash and taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

The severity of the injuries are not yet known.

The road was closed for several hours while police officers carried out investigation work.

Sussex Police have been approached for comment.
