A man has avoided jail after stealing from high street shop in East Grinstead
A MAN has avoided jail after stealing clothing from a high street shop.
Simon Ladu has been ordered to pay compensation after he was caught stealing goods worth £865 from JD Sports in Tunbridge Wells on September 13 last year.
The 39-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence.
He was sentenced to 120 days in prison, suspended for two years, and ordered to £865 in compensation.
Ladu, of Belvedere Terrace, Brighton, will pay £20 per month, starting from April 15 this year.
