TRAFFIC is building up along the A259 due to an oil spillage from a broken-down lorry.
Part of the road is partially blocked due to the spillage on B2123 High Street in Rottingdean, causing congestion in both directions along the A259.
An eyewitness said that an HGV broke done north of the junction with the A259, leaking “a large quantity of liquid from its mechanics”.
Fire crews are reportedly at the scene and have closed off Rottingdean High Street.
