FREE beer is on offer for those who attend a new solar-powered concert.

The event, hosted by Mexican beer brand Corona, will see a newly installed 100 per cent natural billboard on Brighton seafront.

The event, titled Sun Powered Session, is due to take place on Friday, April 29, on The Promenade, opposite the West Pier in Brighton.

The music is due to begin at 6.30pm.

For free entry to the gig and a free corona, you must get a wrist stamp ahead of the show.

The organisers said: “For a nature-inspired celebration of summer, the golden hour gig will be led by the sun’s descending rays, as solar-powered speakers amplify a spellbinding acoustic sunset performance.

“The ultimate moment to disconnect from the working week and embrace the start of summer, those attending can enjoy free Corona as they get set to bask in the restorative sun over the long weekend.

“As a beer brewed with 100 per cent natural ingredients, Corona is all about celebrating the natural world, using renewable energy resources at this latest event to highlight the true power of nature around us.

“The Sun-Powered Session will continue Corona’s mission to encourage people to connect with the great outdoors, as great beer and serene settings combine for the ultimate evening entertainment.”

The billboard will be on show from April 27 to May 5.

Between 6.30pm and 6.45pm on April 29, a hidden message will begin to appear on the billboard.

Using the sun’s rays and the bespoke greenery at the gig, the outline of a bottle and the message ‘Made from the Natural World’ will be revealed to guests.

The free beer is limited to 150 people with one beer per person.
