"Excellent little gem in central Brighton. Stopped by twice during our visit from Bristol and both times were stunning. Pam’s service both times was exemplary. Couldn’t do enough for us and really made us feel welcome.

"We were very impressed with her professionalism when dealing with a very rude member of the public. Highly recommend."

I was told when I moved to Hove that this is "The One". It is. The best fish and chips ever. Spikey batter, moist fish, just perfect. So often fish shops overcook the fish.

"We had a large cod and the hake special. Perfectly cooked, perfect batter with well timed frying."

Tammys Fish and Chips

Rating: 4.5/5

Where: 26 The Drove, Brighton BN1 5AF

"Best chippie in Brighton. Just had their plaice and chips and it was lovely.

"The fish was large and full of flavour and the chips tasty and very dry. We ordered during the afternoon and it was ready for collection at 6pm. Great service."
