A BAR TRUCK handing out free margaritas will be visiting the city next week.

Lyre’s, a non-alcoholic spirit brand, will be visiting handing out alcohol-free margaritas on Brighton Beach on Thursday morning, before heading to Old Steine for the afternoon.

It is part of the brand’s Cinco de Mayo celebrations and to make the launch of its new, premium tequila style drink, Agave Blanco Spirit.

A Lyre’s spokesman said: “Agave Blanco Spirit is the latest edition to the Lyre’s portfolio of 16 exquisite spirits, five ready to drink cans and a prosecco style variant, features a mélange of flavours, evoking notes of citrus, peppers, pine, spices, and oak, so tequila fans can embrace the longer evenings with a refreshing, sophisticated tipple in hand.”

The roadshow will kick off in London tour from on Thursday, May 5 before arriving in Brighton.

All guests to the truck in Brighton will receive a special Lyre’s cocktail offer at Rockwater in Western Esplanade, Hove.

Priced at £23.50 per 700ml bottle, the brand-new spirit will be available from May via Lyres.co.uk- just in time for you to Make it a Lyre’s this Cinco de Mayo.

The brand was developed on the belief that people wanted to make better choices around their alcohol consumption but still enjoy their much-loved drink of choice.
