A YOUTH who fled police after riding a dirt bike in an antisocial manner has been arrested.
Police were called following reports of a dirt bike being ridden by a number of youths in an antisocial manner around the area of North Bersted, Bognor, on Monday, May 9.
After a short foot chase across fields, Police Community Support Officers located a male involved in the antisocial behaviour.
He was subsequently arrested for being in possession of an offensive weapon.
“The same male was further arrested for a number of outstanding offences including criminal damage,” a police spokesman said.
The spokesman said the arrested was a “good result” for the force.
