AN INTERNET pop sensation will play at The Great Escape festival this week.
Rebecca Black, who shot to fame in 2010 with her hit track Friday, is to make her Brighton debut with a performance at Revenge, in Old Steine, Brighton.
She is jetting to the city fresh from a performance at Coachella – a star-studded festival on America’s east coast.
Our #trackoftheday is 'Girlfriend' by queer hyper-pop star @MsRebeccaBlack 🖤 .

The singer went on to release a smattering of singles and a six-track EP after breaking onto the scene, but returned triumphantly with statement record, Rebecca Black Was Here, last year – a collection of songs given four out of five stars by NME.
Throughout her tenure, the singer has remained in the public eye not only for her music, but as a prominent figure in the LGBTQ+ community and as an advocate for various anti-bullying campaigns.
She will play at Revenge this Friday at 10pm.
