FIRE crews were called to a fire in a block of flats overnight.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) received reports of a fire at a block of flats in Cranfield Road, Bexhill at 9.36 last night.
Crews used breathing apparatus and a hose reel to put out a fire in a first floor flat.
One person was given first aid treatment and The South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) were informed.
An ESFRS spokesman said: “A routine fire investigation is to be carried out to establish the cause of a fire this evening (10 May 2022) in Bexhill.
“Fire engines from Bexhill, Hastings and Broad Oak were sent to the scene along with the command support unit and three officers.”
