A MAN has pleaded not guilty to attempting to murder two people with a Samurai sword in Crawley.
At Hove Crown Court, Ali Bhatti, 33, of Shinwell Walk, Crawley, denied two charges of attempted murder and a further charge of possessing an article with a blade in a public place.
The charges against Bhatti came after two people suffered serious injuries in Horsham Road in the town on October 22 last year.
Bhatti is due to appear for a week-long trial starting on August 22 before Her Honour Judge Christine Henson QC.
