A DRINK and drug driver has been arrested for driving erratically on the A23.
Sussex Roads Police released dashcam footage of the driver, who was spotted weaving between lanes on the road near the Handcross weighbridge at about 10.30pm on Tuesday, May 10.
Police received two 999 calls were made by members of the public reporting an “erratic” driver on the A23.

Officers responded, capturing footage of the black vehicle driving between lanes on the northbound carriageway.
The driver was arrested for drink and drug driving, and for not having insurance.
In a statement shared alongside the video, Sussex Roads Police said: “Last night, we responded to two 999 calls made by members of the public reporting an erratic driver on the A23.
“Officers responded and the driver was arrested for drink and drug driving, as well as not having insurance.”
