A CHILDREN’S playground has been covered in pink paint by vandals.
The play equipment, including the slide and climbing frame, at the Western Recreation Ground in Hailsham was defaced earlier this week.
Town Council Official’s area appealing for information to find the people responsible for the vandalism.
A spokesman said: “The necessary removal of the paint has been arranged with a contractor and will be carried out in the next few days.
“The incident has been reported to Sussex Police and we would urge anyone with any information about who is responsible for causing this act of vandalism to contact them immediately by calling 101.”
Sussex Police have been contacted for comment.
