MORE than a dozen firefighters responded to an overnight blaze.

At least five fire units attended the incident in Hurstpierpoint at 8.50pm on Thursday, May 12.

Photographs taken at the scene show a row of five fire engines in Cuckfield Road, along with numerous firefighters.

The images also show the firefighters entering a building with ladders.

The extent of the fire is not yet known.

Units from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service and West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service both were at the scene.

Sussex Police and ambulances also attended the incident.

Cuckfield Road was also cordoned off by police.
