IT’S time to get your disco outfits ready at the Brighton Fringe festival with a selection of “glitter-soaked” events.

The largest arts festival in England is under way, with a month of entertainment across the city.

With more than 700 shows and events, festivalgoers are spoilt for choice with cabaret, circus, dance, drama and drag shows.

Among the events being held today, Saturday are:

Guilty Pleasures

London’s most raucous, glitter-soaked party is returning to Brighton Spiegeltent.

Organisers said: “Guilty Pleasures is a club where the spirit of umbrella-era Rihanna downs shots with Whitney Houston, while Taylor Swift doesn’t stop moving to the funky funky beat with S Club 7 and Katy Perry loses it over the fact that Backstreet is back, all right?”

Boogie Shoes Silent Disco Walking Party

Boogie Shoes Silent Disco Walking Party returns to Brighton with their Climb Onboard the Love Boat event.

Dubbed as an “outrageous outdoor party”, the activity will see you dancing and singing through the streets of Brighton.

Komedia Comedy Club

The comedy show will feature three acts and an MC.

Throughout the festival, the Komedia Comedy Club will be hosting comedians including Kiri Pritchard-McLean, Jordan Brookes, Olga Koch, Barbara Nice, Jarred Christmas, Nina Conti, Sara Barron and more.

The venue has won the Chortle Award for Best Comedy Venue in the South on 17 occasions.

On The Edge Best of the Fest

The event promises to bring fresh faces from the UK comedy circuit to Brighton.

Held at The Walrus, the event has previously hosted acts such as Joe Wilkinson, Angela Barnes, Maisie Adam, Mark Simmons and Esther Manito.

The Lady Boys of Bangkok - Summer of Fun Tour 2022

To be held at Sabai Pavilion in St Peter's Square, the Lady Boys of Bangkok are back.

The show is officially the largest and longest-running cabaret show in the UK.

A total of 16 of the world’s most glamorous showgirls will be performing.
