MOTORISTS will see three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

While there will be delays they are not set to last long, with all of them expected to last less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures are due to start this week:

• A26, from 8pm on May 16 to 6am May 28: A27 eastbound and westbound, Falmer, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via local authority network.

• A27, from 8pm on May 25 to 6am May 27: A27 eastbound, Falmer to Ashcombe, lane closure for trial holes.

• A27, from 8pm on May 26 to 6am May 27: A27 eastbound, Devils Dyke to Hollingbury, slip road closure for electrical works, diversion via National Highways network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads across the country, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
