Man hit with baseball bat during attack in Eastbourne
A MAN was hit with a baseball bat during an assault in a residential street.
The victim was walking between St. Philips Avenue and Marlow Avenue in Eastbourne between 6 and 8pm on Tuesday, May 10.
He was approached from behind by two men who attacked him before running off.
Police say they are keen to speak to a woman who was walking her dog at the time of the incident and may have witnessed the assault.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Anyone with information which could help the investigation is urged to contact police online or ring 101, quoting reference 47220084434.”
