A MISSING woman has been found safe after a search near cliffs.
Emergency services were called to Beachy Head in Eastbourne on Wednesday amid concern for the welfare of a woman.
A police spokesman said they received a report about the woman at Beachy Head at around 5.30pm.
He added: "The woman was found safe and taken to hospital.”
Eastbourne RNLI Eastbourne was paged at 5.30am.
It sent the inshore lifeboat to assist police and coastguards with "an incident" to the east of the Belle Tout Lighthouse.
“There will be no further details due to the sensitive nature of the call,” a RNLI spokesman said.
Earlier this month, another missing person was found safe after a search near the same cliffs.
Emergency services were called to the cliffs in Eastbourne on Monday, May 9, to help with the operation.
