CABARET, comedy and culture are on offer at the Brighton Fringe festival.

With more than 700 shows and events, festivalgoers are spoilt for choice with cabaret, circus, dance, drama and drag shows.

Among the events being held today, Friday, May 20, are:

Sassy! 2.0

The Sassy squad are back with one of the freshest cabaret shows at the Brighton Fringe.

The mistress of celebrations Lucy Hopkins will guide the audience through a night of circus, burlesque, dance, drag and more.

Tickets for the event at Brighton Spiegeltent range from £8 to £10.

Brighton Food Tours

The VIB (Very Independent Brighton) Food Tour is a celebration of independent Brighton businesses, packed with the sights and tastes from the makers of indie food and drink.

Over about three hours, you'll get a selection of the best foodie hot spots on offer.

The Secret Comedy Club by Artista

Artista Upstairs in Waterloo Street, Hove, holds comedy nights all year round.

But during Brighton Fringe, the award-winning venue will run seven days a week offering comedy shows, with tickets ranging from £5 to £20.

Guru Dudu's Silent Disco Walking Tours

Returning from Australia, Guru Dudu is offering a dance-walking tour of spontaneous flash mobs through the streets of Brighton.

The music will include tunes from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s.

Ross Kamp: Seeing Queerly

Held at Cellar Bar at The Brunswick, Hove, Ross Kamp invites you to look on the bright side of life as he explores the world of LGBTQ+ culture and his experience of being partially sighted.

From tales of gay Twitter to Tinder escapades, Ross explores his own identity and encourages you to celebrate yours.

The Lady Boys of Bangkok - Summer of Fun Tour 2022

To be held at Sabai Pavilion in St Peter's Square, Brighton, the Lady Boys of Bangkok are back.

The show is officially the largest and longest-running cabaret show in the UK.

A total of 16 of the world’s most glamorous showgirls will be performing.
