COMEDY and club nights galore are on offer at the Brighton Fringe festival.

With more than 700 shows and events, festivalgoers are spoilt for choice with cabaret, circus, dance, drama and drag shows.

Among the events being held today, Saturday, May 21, are:

Extra Topping Comedy Showcase

Simon Topping showcases some of the best comedy on offer, three acts at a time.

The show focuses on improv, sketch, musical comedy, physical comedy and more.

Tickets range from £6 to £8 for the event held at The Poets in Montgomery Street.

Club de Fromage

Held at the Brighton Spiegeltent, the show offers a chance to take a romp through the decades.

Expect sing-alongs, stage shows, hula hooping and confetti cannons, as well as a mixture of pop, rock, disco and power ballads.

On The Edge Best of the Fest

Held at The Walrus in Ship Street, Brighton, the show aims to bring fresh faces from the UK circuit to audiences all year round.

In previous years, the show has featured the likes of Joe Wilkinson, Angela Barnes, Maisie Adam, Mark Simmons and Esther Manito.

Under Milk Wood: Semi Skimmed

More than 25 years after its Edinburgh debut, Olivier Award winner Guy Masterson presents the highlights of his globally acclaimed solo tour.

The 60-minute version is a hilarious lyrical romp through Dylan Thomas's fictional Llarregub.

The show is held at The Rotunda Theatre: Bubble.

A Brighton Food and Chocolate Adventure

If you love food and are also a keen chocolate lover, this two-hour tour celebrates everything that a foodie soul requires.

Not only will your tastebuds have their own little party, but you will also get to know some of Brighton's best eateries and chocolatiers.

The tour begins opposite St Bartholomew's Church in Ann Street.
