ART, comedy and dance are all on offer at the Brighton Fringe festival.

With more than 700 shows and events, festivalgoers are spoilt for choice with cabaret, circus, dance, drama and drag shows.

Among the events being held today, Sunday, May 22, are:

Art5 Gallery: Original Art Exhibition 2022

Hosted by Art5 Gallery in Prince Albert Street, the exhibition will be open for five weeks.

It will showcase a variety of the galleries most popular contemporary resident artists, with a mixture of group and solo shows.

Northern Soul All-Afternooner

Returning to the Brighton Spiegeltent for a sixth year, this show is a chance for you to “keep the faith with Northern Soul”.

Ticket prices range from £10 to £12.

Dave Fensome: Dog Eat Dog

After his sell-out run last year with his debut show ADHDave, local comedian Dave Fensome returns to Caroline of Brunswick in Hove with his latest work Dog Eat Dog.

The stand-up uses his uniquely dark comic mind, exploring topics of culture, class and forgiveness.

Guru Dudu's Silent Disco Walking Tours

Returning from Australia, Guru Dudu is offering a dance-walking tour of spontaneous flash mobs through the streets of Brighton.

The music will include tunes from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s.

Laughing Horse Pick of the Fringe

Hosted at The Walrus in Ship Street, Brighton, the annual selection of some of the best in stand-up comedy is back.

Event organisers said: “This show is a succulent smorgasbord of fantastically funny stand-up comedy headliners, alongside the best in fresh new talent with four different comics at each show, all selected from shows all around Brighton Fringe.”
