LIVE theatre shows and life drawing are on offer at the Brighton Fringe festival.
With more than 700 shows and events, festivalgoers are spoilt for choice with cabaret, circus, dance, drama and drag shows.
Among the events being held today, Monday, May 23, are:
An Audience With Stuart Bagcliffe
This comedic one-man show introduces Stuart Bagcliffe, who will perform his biographical play to an audience for the first time.
Tickets for the show at The Walrus in Ship Street, Brighton, range from £5 to £10.
Life Drawing at The Bosco
Held inside The Bosco tent at Brighton Spiegeltent, this is one of four varied life drawing events for all the family in a nature-themed wonderland.
Come and draw circus performers as they pose in costume, with aerialists, contortionists, flow artists and dancers accompanied by jazzy folk trio Django Chutney.
Otherwise Engaged
Described as an “exquisite visual art exhibition”, this event will feature three artists from the Creative Future stable – Danika McElroy, Dawn Blake and Terence Wilde.
The exhibition at the PLUS X Innovation Hub in Lewes Road can be viewed externally from street level for 24 hours a day, with a different series of images on show inside.
Joe Foster: Hits The Roof
Stand-up Joe Foster is a previous winner of the South Coast Comedian of The Year title.
His new show is to be held at the Caroline of Brunswick.
Sorry Not Sorry!
After a sell-out Camden Fringe festival, Clean Slate Comedy Stand-up Nights are coming to the Brighton Fringe.
They will feature competition winners and stars from TV, radio and the stand-up circuit.
The events will take place in the basement room at The Walrus in Ship Street.
