PICTURES show the aftermath of a fight between several people “involving weapons”, with part of a main road still sealed off.
Images taken at the scene of the incident show a police cordon in Western Road, Brighton following a fight between a group of people earlier today.
Police responded to reports of the fight in Western Road, Brighton, at 2.20pm
Witnesses in the city centre have reported that “shots were fired” at a bus during the fight.
Officers arrived and searched the area for those involved, but they were not found.
A man was found in Elm Grove with serious injuries and treated by the ambulance service.
Police say this is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no wider risk to the public.
