A CHELSEA fan who ran onto the Amex pitch to get a selfie with a player faces a four-year football ban.
Jake Robert Cooke-Wood, from Worthing, told magistrates he wanted to get a picture with one of the players after the 1-1 draw with Brighton and Hove Albion in January.
The 25-year-old told Brighton magistrates' court: "It's quite out of character for me, I’m not a bad kid.
"I just got carried away.
"I wanted to get a photo with one of the players."
Magistrate Nigel Barden told him: "This is a relatively serious offence."
Cooke-Wood, of Forest Road, Worthing, was fined a total of £349.
He will appear again at Worthing magistrates' court in August to contest a football banning order, which would see him barred from Chelsea and England games for four years.
