Woman fined for speeding at the A27 Ashcombe Roundabout in Lewes
A WOMAN has been fined for speeding in her Land Rover on the A27.
Leisa Brett has been ordered to pay a total of £481 by Brighton magistrates after being caught driving above 50mph, as well as driving while not in a position to have proper control.
The 40-year-old pleaded guilty to both offences, which happened at the A27 Ashcombe Roundabout near Lewes on September 22, 2021.
Brett, of Vernon Avenue, Brighton, was fined £355 and given five points on her license.
She will also have to pay £90 in court costs and a surcharge of £36 to fund victim services.
