A BRASSERIE chain has announced the opening date of a new restaurant this summer.

The Ivy Collection will launch in Chichester on June 21, with reservations available to book now.

In celebration of the opening, The Ivy Chichester Brasserie enlisted Ivy vintage race cars and performers who took to the streets of the city.

The restaurant will be in East Street and will cater for up to 142 guests, with all-day dining.

The Argus:

Its menus will incorporate a selection of seasonal dishes including crispy duck salad with five spice dressing, toasted cashews, watermelon, beansprouts, sesame seeds, coriander and ginger, The Ivy shepherd’s pie, and salmon and smoked haddock fish cake with crushed pea and herb sauce and a soft poached egg.

Desserts will include crème brûlée, apple tart fine, and chocolate bombe.

Overseeing the restaurant will be general manager Barnaby Harris-Reid while head chef Arnold Ivey will be in charge of the kitchen.

The Argus:

Barnaby Harris-Reid said: “We are thrilled to be bringing The Ivy Collection to Chichester.

“The city is internationally renowned for its historic cathedral, culture and beautiful scenery, and the team and I are excited to welcome residents and visitors of Chichester this spring once we open our doors.”
