Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses to the accident
AN ELDERLY pedestrian who was badly hurt in a collision with a van is still in hospital.
Emergency services were called to Gloucester Road in Brighton, at the junction with Tidy Street, at about 11.55am on May 23.
The woman, in her eighties, sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
Police are investigating the accident and are urging anyone who saw it or has any relevant footage to email collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk, quoting Operation Halsted.
