AN AQUARIUM has marked the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with celebrations involving both staff and sea creatures.

The Victorian Arcade Arches at The Sea Life Centre, Brighton, have changed from their usual rainbow colours to red, white and blue to mark the occasion.

The celebrations do not stop there as the Animal Care Team are also including the creatures in the festivities.

The Argus:

Noodles the Octopus requires daily enrichment to engage her in exploratory activities that encourage natural behaviours.

Aquarist, Bryony has created a safe painting activity allowing Noodles to explore a new texture with her arms and create some Union Jack bunting.

The Argus:

The world's oldest Green Sea Turtles, Lulu and Gulliver are also joining in with a Jubilee themed tea party.

The Aquarists got creative with herbivore gel creating corgi, bunting, union jack and crown biscuits for them to enjoy.

The Argus:

Displays Supervisor, Joe Williams said: "It is the perfect opportunity to have a bit of fun as a team to come up with some alternative enrichment ideas for our creatures as well as treating them to join the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations with us."
