POLICE with firearms have been spotted at the scene of an incident.
Images taken in South Farm Road in Worthing show a number of officers and police vehicles at the scene.
A dog unit was also photographed at the scene.
The incident is believed to have occurred at about 2.30pm on Sunday, June 5.
The details of the incident are not yet known.
Sussex Police have been approached for comment.
A street party in celebration of the Queen’s platinum jubilee was due to take place on the road on Sunday.
The road was to be closed from the north side of Pavilion Road to the north side of Henty Road.
Pavilion Road and Westcourt Road were due to remain open.
