A WOMAN suffered a serious arm injury during an assault on the dancefloor of a bar.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault in Yates Wine Bar in Robertson Street, Hastings, on Sunday, June 5.
The woman was on the dancefloor of the venue when she was assaulted at about 2.30am.
She suffered a serious arm injury, which required hospital treatment.
A 27-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were subsequently arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.
They have both been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Enquiries are ongoing and officers investigating the assault would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened, or who may have any other information.
