A MAN has been seriously injured in a stabbing outside a supermarket.

Police responded to reports of a stabbing in Foundry Retail Park, Horsham, just after 7.10pm on Tuesday, June 7.

Officers attended the scene, and shortly located an injured man in the area.

He has been taken to hospital by paramedics with “serious but non-life threatening or non-life changing injuries”, police said.

“This is believed to be an isolated incident, with no threat to the wider community.”

The public can also expect to see a heightened police presence in the area while police enquiries continue.

Photographs taken at the scene of the incident show forensic police officers taking photos outside a Lidl store. 

Meanwhile, a police cordon was set up outside the supermarket.
