A 21-YEAR-OLD man has been fined for riding an e-scooter without insurance.
Mantas Rakauskas has been ordered to pay a total of £280 by Crawley magistrates after he was caught riding a Pure E-Scooter in Portfield Way, Chichester, without third party insurance and not in accordance with his licence.
The 21-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence, which happened on November 25 last year.
Rakauskas, of Pinewood Way, Chichester, was fined £156 and given six points on his licence.
He will also have to pay £90 in court costs and a surcharge of £34 to fund victim services.
