A MAN was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a collision on the A27.
Emergency services were called to the Tangmere Roundabout shortly before 2am this morning to reports of a single-vehicle collision on the eastbound carriageway.
A 53-year-old-man, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
Traffic has returned to normal after the road was closed while accident investigation work took place.
Police are appealing for witnesses and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or the events leading up to it, as well as anyone with relevant dash cam footage.
