A SECTION of the A22 was closed after police, fire and air ambulance crews attended the scene of a collision.
The road in Whitesmith, near Hailsham, was partially closed yesterday evening while the emergency services dealt with the incident.
Pictures show police vehicles, fire engines and crews from the Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance at the scene of the collision.
Traffic was left queuing both ways along the road from South Street to B2124 Lewes Road (Golden Cross) while the road was partially closed.
It is believed that the accident involved a car and a motorbike.
Sussex Police have been contacted for comment.
