A MAN was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a collision between a car and a motorcycle.
Emergency services were called to the A22 at Whitesmith, near Hailsham, shortly after 4.40pm yesterday afternoon after reports of a crash between a black Honda motorcycle and a black Kia Rio car.
The motorcycle rider, a 25-year-old man from Eastbourne, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
Pictures from the scene show police vehicles, fire crews, and crews from the Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance at the scene of the collision.
Police are investigating the incident and would like to speak to anybody who witnessed the incident, the circumstances leading up to it, or has any relevant dash cam footage.
