TWO electric bikes worth around £6,000 were stolen in a break-in.

Officers received a report of a break-in at a property in Chichester that took place at some point between 4.30pm on Friday, June 3 and midday on Sunday, June 5.

The two distinctive bikes were stolen, but the chargers for them were left behind.

Police are investigating and are calling for anyone with information about the thefts to get in touch.

Detective Nathan Taylor said: “These bikes are of great sentimental value to the victims, which goes beyond their significant intrinsic value.

“We would like to speak to anybody who has any information about these thefts or spots the bikes for sale.”

Those with information can contact Sussex Police online or via 101, quoting serial 645 of 05/06.
